GREENBERG GIBBONS COMMERCIAL SELECTS
THOMAS M. FITZPATRICK AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Owings Mills, MD (May 15, 2006) – Greenberg Gibbons Commercial Corporation, the Owings Mills, MD-based developer of mixed-use properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, has announced the hiring of Thomas M. Fitzpatrick as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Fitzpatrick, who brings more than twenty-five years of retail real estate experience to the company, was most recently a Senior Vice President – Asset Management, with The Rouse Company. He was responsible for more than half of the operating properties and development projects.

In his new role, Mr. Fitzpatrick will oversee the day-to-day operations and activities of the company’s Property Management Division, which currently manages retail and mixed-use properties totaling more than 3.2 million square feet of space. He will also be active with the firm’s in-house leasing team, and the various commercial real estate brokerage companies that are working to attract national and local merchants to the Greenberg Gibbons Commercial property portfolio.

“Tom brings a diverse and experienced background in both leasing and asset management to the company, and he will play an important leadership role as we continue to develop increasingly complex and high-visibility mixed-use projects,” stated Brian Gibbons, President and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons Commercial. “He has demonstrated success with a number of large-scale projects nationally, and he is extremely respected and well-known throughout the real estate industry,” he added.

Recent successes of Greenberg Gibbons Commercial include the re-development of Hunt Valley Mall into Hunt Valley Towne Centre that features the first Wegmans Food Market in the State of Maryland and Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole, a $400 million mixed-use development that will combine office, retail and residential components, as well as a hotel in a partnership with Annapolis-based Petrie Ross Ventures.

In addition, the company recently announced the signing of a second lease with Wegmans that will anchor Waugh Chapel Village South, a new development featuring approximately 550,000 square feet of retail space, more than 110,000 square feet of office space and 228 residential units. This was followed by another announcement by the company outlining Wegman’s plan to anchor Woodmore Towne Centre, a new mixed-use development in Prince George’s County.

“Tom is a true professional with a proven track record in retail leasing, development and management on a national stage, and we look forward to his contributions in this exciting time of our company,” stated Erwin L. Greenberg, Chairman of the Board of Greenberg Gibbons Commercial.

Mr. Fitzpatrick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Reisterstown, MD.

Greenberg Gibbons Commercial, which was founded in 1968, focuses on the acquisition, development, leasing and management of mixed-use properties and retail shopping centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. The firm builds value in these holdings through asset management, re-development and leasing activities.
