"GRAND OPENING WEEK" OF ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCED TO CELEBRATE OPENING OF HUNT VALLEY TOWNE CENTRE

Ribbon-cutting ceremony, dedication of Chuck Thompson plaque, fashion show and artists showcase are highlights of events beginning September 28

Owings Mills, MD (September 20, 2005) – Greenberg Gibbons Commercial Corporation has announced its slate of activities and special events to commemorate the grand opening of the Hunt Valley Towne Centre, beginning Wednesday, September 28 and culminating with the opening of the first Wegmans Food Markets in Maryland on Sunday, October 2.

The company transformed the former Hunt Valley Mall into a 980,000 square foot lifestyle center, which includes 260,000 square feet of space in an open air "Main Street" environment. A collection of nearly fifty retailers, plus casual and sit-down restaurants, have signed leases at Hunt Valley, including Ann Taylor Loft, Coldwater Creek, Greetings & Readings, Spa in the Valley and Ulta.

The schedule of activities, which will take place in the courtyard area on Main Street, includes:

Wednesday, September 28

10:00 am – ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication of plaque immortalizing the life and contribution of Hall of Fame broadcaster Chuck Thompson. The plaque is part of a new outdoor fireplace that is located in the Chuck Thompson Memorial Plaza at Hunt Valley Towne Center. Betty Thompson and other local dignitaries will participate. Bay Street Brassworks will perform beginning at 10 am.

11:00 am – live entertainment, including mimes and free caricatures

12 noon – 6 pm – Fashion shows at 12 noon and 6 pm, strolling choral singers and floral displays on Main Street

Thursday, September 29

11:00 am – 8 pm – Artists and aspiring artists paint and sketch outdoors. All original artwork will be auctioned to benefit the March of Dimes at an event to follow in October.

Friday, September 30

12 noon – 8 pm – Musical talent showcase featuring vocalists and instrumental performers. Milkshake entertainment for children occurs at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Saturday, October 1

12 noon and 2 pm – Kids singer Jim performs near Chico's.

7 pm – 10 pm – Outdoor evening fundraiser to benefit the Cockeysville Police Athletic League (PAL), including silent auction, live band and dancing and fashion show. The cost is $50.00 to attend. Spectrum will be the featured musical groups at this event, with all proceeds to benefit the PAL.

Sunday, October 2

8 am – Grand opening of Wegmans Food Market

"The five days of grand opening events were designed to showcase our new roster of tenants at Hunt Valley Towne Centre and to celebrate the wide array of artistic talent in the Baltimore region," stated Brian Gibbons, President and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons Commercial Corporation. "Our goal was to offer activities that would attract diverse audiences, and to demonstrate the high level of customer interaction and community involvement and participation that will become standard at the project," he added.

Nearly fifty retailers have signed leases and are now open or will soon be operational at Hunt Valley Towne Centre. Apparel and footwear retailers include Ann Taylor Loft, Chico's, Coldwater Creek, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Just Comfort Shoes, Olly Shoes and White House/Black Market, among others. The list of restaurants feature Caribou Coffee, Carmine's, Carraba's Italian Grill, Cheeburger, Cheeburger, Chipolte Mexican Grill, Greystone Grill, Jesse Wong's Open Kitchen, Noodle's & Company, Outback Steakhouse, Panera Bread and Quizno's Subs.

Other stores include Box of Rain, Calvert Wine & Spirits, Greetings & Readings, Soccertowne, Spa in the Valley and Tomlinson Craft Collection.

Located off Interstate 83 Exit 20A, the project is six miles north of the Baltimore Beltway, adjacent to the Hunt Valley Business Community, 10 miles from Towson, 20 miles from downtown Baltimore City and 35 miles from the City of York, PA.
