Center Will Offer Fresh Ways to Indulge with Five Restaurants, Petite Cellars, Smyth and Inspire
Owings Mills, Md. (August 30, 2013) – Greenberg Gibbons announced today that eight restaurants and retailers will open at Turf Valley Towne Square between now and November, 2013. These eight tenants will make the 108,000-square-foot community shopping center Ellicott City’s newest destination for dining, shopping and beauty services.
The new restaurants coming to Turf Valley Towne Square are:
Facci, featuring Italian classics, artisan wood-grilled pizzas, and a wine bar, will be opening in a 5,730-square-foot pad site in September. This will be the second location for Facci, which is already well known for its original restaurant in North Laurel, Md.
Grille 620 is a new concept focusing on modern American fare, especially seafood and steak. The 4,000-square-foot eatery – a sister restaurant to River Hill Sports Grille in Clarksville, Md. –will open in October.
Xitomate, a Mexican kitchen and tequila bar will be opening its second location at Turf Valley Towne Square in November. The 3,600-square-foot restaurant will specialize in authentic, contemporary Mexican dishes, and will boast one of the best selections of tequilas in the area. Xitomate also has a Columbia, Md. location.
Red Parrot, a Southeast Asian bistro specializing in Thai food, sushi and Asian fusion cuisine, is set to open this November. Also located in Arlington, Va., Hanover, Md., and Baltimore, Md., Red Parrot’s Turf Valley Towne Square restaurant will be 3,820-square-feet.
Mimi’s Kabobs, a 1,860-square-foot, family-friendly Afghan restaurant, will open in October. Mimi’s Kabobs specializes in authentic cuisine such as chicken, beef, lamb and kofta kabobs, as well as chicken tikka and curry specials.
“By bringing in five new destination-worthy restaurants, Turf Valley Towne Square is positioned to become the area’s premier dining district,” said Tom Fitzpatrick, President and COO of Greenberg Gibbons. “These restaurants will be key to this center’s success, and they will be nicely complemented by the other tenants opening shop over the next few months.”
The new retailers and services that will be joining Turf Valley Towne Square include:
Inspire, a 1,200-square-foot organic hair salon. The one-of-a-kind beauty parlor, which pairs environmentally-friendly hair products with state-of-the-art techniques, will open in September.
Smyth, the newest location for the Baltimore area’s leading fine jewelry store. The 4,889-square-foot shop is now open.
Petite Cellars, an 8,500-square-foot shop offering fine wine, craft beer and spirits. The store, which is the sister location of The Perfect Pour in Elkridge, Md, will open in November.
Turf Valley Towne Square is located in the heart of Howard County, where Rt. 40 meets Marriottsville Road. Anchored by Harris Teeter, the shopping center is part of a master-planned community featuring Class A office and medical space, more than 1,800 residential units, and a 175-room resort hotel and spa that features 26 holes of championship golf.
