Eric DeVito

General Counsel

Mr. DeVito joined Greenberg Gibbons in 2018 and serves as General Counsel, managing all legal affairs and functions. He also oversees the company’s Human Resources, IT, and Risk Management teams. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years in both private practice and as an in-house counsel. His practice has included real estate transactions, general business consultation, evaluation of tax incentives and economic development, and energy supply for large industrial users. Most recently, Mr. DeVito was a Principal at the firm Stone Mattheis Xenopoulos & Brew, PC in Washington, D.C., representing both real estate developers and energy clients. Prior to that, he served as Vice President and General Counsel for Ribera Development, LLC, a real estate development company in Annapolis, Md. Mr. DeVito started his career as a tax accountant with Arthur Andersen specializing in taxation of partnerships and corporations.

Mr. DeVito received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Ohio State University and his law degree from the University of Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
