
Brian J. Gibbons
CEO & Chairman of the Board
Mr. Gibbons sets the strategic vision for Greenberg Gibbons’ innovative developments throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. He joined the company in May 1999 and currently sits as Chairman of the Board/ Chief Executive Officer. He has overseen the acquisition, finance, leasing, development and management of over 12,000,000 square feet of past and current projects with a value in excess of $2 billion. He is responsible for leading some of the area’s most significant projects, including ground-up development of Village at Waugh Chapel and Waugh Chapel Towne Centre in Anne Arundel County, Md., the redevelopment of Hunt Valley Towne Centre, Foundry Row, The Shops at Kenilworth in Baltimore, Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole in Annapolis, Md., and Towne Centre at Laurel in Laurel, Md., as well as projects currently in development, including Towson Row, Waldorf Station and more. Mr. Gibbons holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Sciences and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Maryland. Mr. Gibbons currently sits on the following boards: LifeBridge Health (Chair of Investment Committee) University of Maryland (Trustee), University of Maryland, Baltimore (Trustee), and Hospice of the Chesapeake (Vice Chairman). Mr. Gibbons also has been appointed by the state of Maryland as a Commissioner to The Augustine Commission on Business Climate, The Knot Commission of School Construction and the Inter-Agency Commission on School Construction Funding. He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
