Mr. Walter joined Greenberg Gibbons in July 2012 and held the position of Chief Investment Officer prior to his appointment as President in June 2021. In his role as president, he is responsible for the development, management, and execution of the strategic vision for the Company. Since joining the company, he has been involved in more than $2 billion in retail and mixed-use acquisitions and development projects where he was responsible for sourcing, financing, development execution, partnership negotiation, dispositions, investor relations, and financial performance. Prior to joining Greenberg Gibbons, he worked for CBRE’s Washington, D.C. office in the National RetailInvestment Sales Group focused on the sale of retail shopping centers and AmericanCapital, a publicly traded private equity and asset management firm. Mr. Walter received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and International Business and a Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland. He is a member of International Council of Shoppings Centers (ICSC).
