Kristian Spannhake

Senior Director of Development & Construction

Mr. Spannhake, PE, LEED AP, joined Greenberg Gibbons in 2026 and serves as Senior Director of Development & Construction. Spannhake has more than 20 years of experience spanning real estate development, construction, and engineering, with a portfolio that includes mixed-use, multifamily, senior living, commercial, and adaptive reuse projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Spannhake holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland. He is a licensed professional engineer and LEED Accredited Professional. An active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Spannhake currently serves as Governance Chair of ULI Baltimore and as a member of ULI’s national Redevelopment and Reuse Product Council. He is also a 2025 graduate of Leadership Maryland’s Executive Program and is actively engaged in the Butchers Hill community in Baltimore.
