First HomeSense in South Carolina to Open at Sea Turtle Marketplace
Baltimore, MD. (November 21, 2023) – Greenberg Gibbons announced today that a 29,530-square-foot HomeSense will join the Sea Turtle Marketplace located in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The home furnishing and décor retailer will be located next to West Marine and is anticipated to open in the spring of 2024. This is HomeSense’s first South Carolina location.

HomeSense is a global furniture and home décor store. The retailer offers a wide-ranging selection of accent furniture, lighting, rugs, decorative accessories and pillows, wall art, seasonal décor, and more. Greenberg Gibbons is working with The Providence Groups’ Darrell Palasciano and Matt Henry to assist with the leasing of HomeSense at the retail center.
The Sea Turtle Marketplace, a 99,580-square-foot community retail center, was acquired by Greenberg Gibbons in October 2022. It is anchored by Golf Galaxy and the well-known boating supply and fishing store, West Marine. Greenberg Gibbons is exploring development opportunities for a 2.81-acre parcel on site. The property is centrally located on Hilton Head Island off William Hilton Parkway.
