Leading Fashion Footwear Brand Completes Retail Lineup
Owings Mills, Md. (January 31, 2014) – Greenberg Gibbons announced today that DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse) will open a brand new store at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre this summer. The new retailer signed a lease for the last available, 10,010 square-foot space at the mixed-use development, which will be expanded to 16,680 square feet to accommodate the store’s needs, making the project 100% leased.
DSW is a leading seller of brand name and designer footwear and accessories for all ages, genders and occasions. DSW focuses on giving customers an enjoyable, convenient and value-oriented shopping experience, offering a vast assortment of in-season styles. The new store will carry approximately 24,000 pairs of shoes at any given time, and will be situated between Ulta and Justice.

DSW joins a list of national and regional retailers and restaurants that are now open at Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, which is anchored by Wegmans and Target. The centre also has several retailers specializing in fashion for all ages, including Carters, Loft, Men’s Warehouse, Jos. A. Bank, Chicos, Old Navy, White House Black Market and more.
Located in West Anne Arundel County, Waugh Chapel Towne Centre is a $275-million mixed-use project with 650,000 square feet of retail space and 130,000 square feet of Class A office space. The development includes The Beacon at Waugh Chapel, a 298-unit apartment complex built by Bozzuto Group. The Villas at Waugh Chapel, a community of 40 townhouses, is also being built by Sturbridge Homes. Waugh Chapel Towne Centre is located next to the popular Village at Waugh Chapel.
