Owings Mills, Md. (December 19, 2011) — Brian Gibbons, Chairman and CEO of Greenberg Gibbons, announced today that Tom Fitzpatrick has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of the Baltimore-based retail development company. Mr. Fitzpatrick, who has served as Greenberg Gibbons’ Executive Vice President since 2006, will expand his current responsibilities to oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, leasing and development activities.
“For more than five years, Tom has been instrumental in turning several of our most significant revitalization projects and mixed-used developments into great successes,” said Brian Gibbons. “His strong leadership will be essential to guiding our continued growth.”
At Greenberg Gibbons, Mr. Fitzpatrick has overseen leasing for the company’s portfolio of more than 15 properties throughout the greater Maryland, DC and Virginia region. He directed the development and merchandising programs for the award-winning Annapolis Towne Centre, and is leading new projects including Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, the redevelopment of Laurel Mall and the proposed Foundry Row at Owings Mills. Before joining Greenberg Gibbons, he spent 25 years at The Rouse Company, where he served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management.
