Three Tenants to Join Village at Waugh Chapel this Winter

Development Welcomes Newk’s Eatery, Grilled Cheese & Co. and HomeCare Assistance

Owings Mills, Md. (November 5, 2013)  Three new tenants are celebrating openings this Winter at The Village at Waugh Chapel, the 790,000-square-foot, mixed-use development in Gambrills, Md. They are:

  • Newk’s Eatery –  A 4,500-square-foot fast casual restaurant/cafe, specializing in dishes that are made from scratch daily.  Newk’s is known for its signature salads, soups, and sandwiches, as well as comfort food items such as pizza and macaroni and cheese. It will be located near Pier 1 Imports on Brandermill Boulevard.
  • Grilled Cheese & Co –  A fast casual restaurant featuring creative takes on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, as well as fresh salads, house-made soups and more. The 1,408-square-foot eatery will be located next to Firehouse Subs.
  • Homecare Assistance –  An organization specializing in providing both hourly and live-in home care to older adults in need of assistance. Homecare Assistance’s newest 1,508-square-foot location will be located next to Waugh Chapel Animal Hospital.

These newest businesses join a list of national and regional retailers and the expansive selection of fast casual and fine dining options at The Village at Waugh Chapel, including Safeway, Chipotle, LA Fitness, Marshalls and more.

Located in West Anne Arundel County, The Village at Waugh Chapel incorporates 404,000 square feet of retail space, 400 senior apartments, a restaurant park, an office building and 3 acres of lakes, parks and promenades into an attractive, open-air mixed use development. The Village at Waugh Chapel is located next to the new Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, which is also managed by Greenberg Gibbons.
